Emotional Freedom Technique

Home / Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT Points DiagramAt the Renaissance Medical Centre, we offer instruction in EFT, or Emotional Freedom Technique. This is a self acupressure technique, which is particularly useful for treating depression, anxiety, post traumatic stress, communication problems cravings, addictions, PMS, ADD and more.

EFT utilizes acupressure in combination with positive thought and affirmation in order to clear energy blockages and create an “internal rewiring” so that we are no longer held hostage by negative past experiences, emotions, shame, regret etc.

EFT was developed by Mr Gary Craig in the early 1990s. Mr. Craig modified the more complicated TFT (Thought Field Therapy) which was developed by Dr. Roger Callahan. EFT is a very powerful and “user friendly” tool for people who want to empower themselves and take an active role in their own self healing. It can be used by itself or in conjunction with other therapies.
