The next concern with antidepressant use is the phenomenon of addiction. In my view what addiction is, is something that we become dependent on to avoid the feelings inside of ourselves. And in that sense, antidepressants use is a way of avoiding the difficulties of life. We live in a world which has become increasingly chaotic and painful and difficult. And it is very tempting to want to take a drug to make life easier. The problem with addictions is that they limit our freedoms. In homeopathy, the goal is to increase our freedom. So, addiction is a movement in the opposite direction of homeopathic principles.
