Nicole Hujer ND-RD-CNS-CSG-CLT
Dr. Nicole Hujer is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor (ND) and Registered Dietician (RD). She is also a Board Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS), Board Certified Specialist in Gerontological Nutrition (CSG) and Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT).
Dr. Hujer graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine (SCNM) in Tempe, Arizona, a fully accredited medical school known for its rigorous curriculum, innovative research and unique mission to spark change within the healthcare community. Nutrition was Dr. Hujer’s first passion that eventually led her to naturopathic medicine. Prior to medical school, she earned her Bachelor of Nutrition Sciences and Biological Sciences from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) and her Master of Science in Applied Clinical Nutrition from New York Chiropractic College (NYCC).
While Dr. Hujer is experienced with clients of all ages in both clinical and community settings, her main focus is general family medicine with an emphasis on nutrition, weight loss, women’s health, and gastrointestinal disorders. Her primary goals for her patients are disease prevention and health optimization achieved through whole-patient wellness. Her passion lies in helping patients find relief from their symptoms so that they can enjoy life again.
Dr. Hujer’s holistic approach to wellness addresses the root cause of an issue and supports the body’s innate ability to heal itself. By embracing the unique nature of each patient, she offers individualized care utilizing a variety of modalities, including homeopathy, nutrition, acupuncture, botanical medicine and mind-body medicine. She is highly committed to the overall health and healing of her patients.
Dr. Hujer is a Nevada native who enjoys traveling and hiking. When she is not busy helping her patients heal, she can be found biking, swimming, cooking, gardening, making herbal medicine and spending time with her husband and children.
