The chart below shows the data from MyLymeData registrants on the effectiveness and side effects of various alternative treatments for Lyme disease.  38% of patients use alternative treatments in conjunction with antibiotics, and 31% use them as their sole means of treatment.  Herbal protocols, many of which have antimicrobial properties, are reported as the most popular, most effective, and with fewer side effects.
