It is important to identify what will trigger a persons migraine. Certain foods to which the person might be allergic to can be a trigger. One of the best way to determine which foods you are sensitive to is to avoid foods that have been linked to migraines for the length of time during which these headaches would normally occur. If headache frequency has decreased, add one from the list and wait three days to see its effect. If a headache occurs, that food is suspect. Wait at least three days after the headache stops before testing another food. This can be a long process but if avoiding specific foods diminishes migraines then it would be well worth the time.
