If you are fit and healthy, don’t waste money signing up for whole body scans, or blood and DNA tests, which claim to predict diseases you might get in the future. First whole-body scans exposes you to unnecessary radiation which has the cumulative effect of increasing you risk for cancer. Secondly, if something suspicious is found on the whole body scan it usually leads to more tests which almost invariably turn out to be negative. In regards to the new, and I might add expensive, DNA testing, this is such a new area of research that the jury is still out about whether or not this approach is really practical.
